Impulse from the Boards
In this program you will have to determine the impulse given to a hockey puck by the boards. The puck will be fired right along the ice, hit the boards and bounce back in the direction from which it came. The puck will lose energy upon hitting the boards, but no energy will be lost as it moves along the ice.

Record the mass of the puck and then click on the puck shoot it towards the boards

Use the distance between the markings (∆x) and the time it takes to travel that distance to find the velocity of the puck as it is moving towards the boards and then bouncing away from them

Finally, get the impulse imparted to the puck using the time it was in contact with the boards
