Momentum Conservation Level 2
You will be presented with two Vernier Dynamics carts, Cart 1 is at rest and Cart 2 will be moving to the right. The carts will have a totally elastic interaction. Your job is to predict the velocities of each of the carts after the collision.

When you are ready to start the problem, click on the Begin button and when you have finished collecting data hit End to submit your results.

Find the speeds of both carts following their collisions. The carts interact elastically so no KE is lost during the collision. The mass of the carts themselves, without the masses on top of them, is 500 grams.
